We decided to spend 9 days hiking in Croatia.  Cheap flights, hire a car and see where we ended up each evening.  A few years ago we met a Croatian Journalist called Zvonimir back in Lechlade and put him up for a few days. Of course we couldn’t go without calling him first so that’s how we ended up in a town called Crikvenica waiting for the bus from Zagreb to bring us the “Crazy Croatian”.

We went to his home town a few hundred kilometers to the South along the coast and then once he returned to Zagreb we looped back up through the Islands of Pag, Rab and Krk.
